Chief Accountant with finance manager duties

Competence & personal skills

• The Chief Accountant is responsible for governance and control of the company, owning the company books, manage risk and minimize financial exposure.
• Manage and govern financial performance of the company.
• Sparring partner to local MD and other business area responsible
• Forecast business results and prepare profit plan based on facts and well defined assumptions.
• Secure legal reporting, requirements, including tax reporting, and tax compliance.
• Secure adequate internal control environment within finance
• Manage and host external auditors.
• Control correctness of accounting (accounting methodology, compliance with tax accounting, entries and analytics)
• Elaborate accounting procedures and statements in 1C program, process adjustment and optimization
• Consult employees on accounting, tax and financial questions
• Month-end closing and preparing of statements

Responsibilities:

• Fluent English!!!
• Deep financial knowledge of P&L, balance sheet, accounting and KPI’s etc.
• Compliance and leadership skills
• A clear, listening and decisive person with high integrity
• Having a corporate view
• Solution orientated and fact based approach
• Good understanding of business processes
