Senior accountant (Stock)

Your mission:

To guarantee reliable figures for each stock movement and for photo stock mostly for e-commerce activity. You will work with IT systems, checking that data is transmitted from one tool to another one and accounting correctly, therefore it's a must to be friendly with IT topics and have a desire to dig into technical questions. As well you should master accounting standards for stock under RAS and IFRS and be ready to deal with such accounting routines as primary documents and reconciliation acts. And last but not least you will participate in the business process set up for accounting needs so good communication skills is a must.

Your responsibilities:

· Guarantee correct accounting of stock according to RAS, tax legislation and IFRS

· Master the accounting flows for stock movements between systems, ensure their tightness and investigate gaps

· Interco control, reconciliation, identifying GAPs, payments check, communication with Head Office

· Participation in monthly closing (closing the lines in P&L under gross and net margins, including COGS and stock variation, closing lines of inventory of goods in Balance sheet)

· Participation in stock-takes and recognition of its result in accounting

· Justification of stock in transit

· Providing data for auditors and guarantee accuracy of the data

· Accompaign the auditors for the audit on site

· Continuous work on digitalization and efficiency of accounting processes

Your profile:

· University degree in Accounting/Economics/Finance;

· 3 years of experience in accounting (stock accounting as advantage);

· Eager to learn and grow professionally;

· Synthetic and analytical thinking;

· You are autonomous, rigorous, proactive, curious, able to handle multiple priorities;

· Problem solver, decision maker, reliable person, willing to learn fast;

· Dynamic & good communicator;

· You have a spirit of service and a strong team spirit;

· Confident user of Excel (formulas, pivot tables, macro as advantage);

· You like to deal with IT systems (curious how they work and how they are interconnected, like to dig into bugs);

· Passionate and regular practice of sports;

· English speaker (able to have an interview in English), French as advantage
