As a Manager – QA at Genesys, you will lead the design, development, documentation, and execution of automated tests across all stages of the product development lifecycle following best practices and methods.

Responsibilities:
The primary responsibilities for this role include (but are not limited to):
- Estimating project test efforts, creating test strategies and test plans
- Providing expertise, plan, analyze, test, and maintain complex engineering solutions
- Developing and maintaining automated test environments
- Interacting with Professional Services, Technical Support, Product Management and Development to make decisions and provide recommendations to support engineering activities
- Establishing good working contacts with key stakeholders across a different teams /departments
- Manage day-to-day activities of the QA team and provide status report to management
Qualifications/Skills Desired and Preferred:
- BA or BS with 5+ years’ experience in software testing and/or development
- 3+ year of test automation/design experience
- 3+ years of practical experience with test automation tools
- Proficiency in, at least, one modern programming language, preferably Java
- Experience in building automated test infrastructure and tools
- Practical experience in testing of distributed system (debugging techniques / fault isolation)
- Experience in development of test methodology, test procedures and test tools for software performance evaluation
- Excellent problem solving, critical thinking, and communication skills
- Experience with version control systems such as Mercurial
- Knowledge of test management / defect tracking systems
- Knowledge of agile development methodologies
Pluses:
- Hands on experience with Genesys products and solutions
- Experience in building and maintaining of Cloud based automated test environments
- Practical experience with Selenium WebDriver, Cucumber
- Development and maintenance of automated tests under Jenkins
- Practical experience with Python or Java
- Practical experience with JIRA and Zephyr
